How can the buggers have a queen if she was destroyed in the Second Invasion?

Why did there need to be people in the ships Ender and his fighters controlled if Ender and his fighters controlled then electronically.

I think the commander school is pushing Ender way too hard. Why didn’t they attack the buggers more slowly?

because i am guessing that the buggers could have expanded and they want to push Ender to his fullest because the race to save mankind is coming closer and closer to its end, so they kinda have to hurry.

If they attacked more slowly, the buggers would have gotten to Earth before the IF could defeat them all.

It was a good idea for the people at the Commander School not to tell Ender the game was real so Ender would kill the buggers. But I think the fighters would have tried much harder if they knew it wasn’t a game. And if they told the fighters the game was for real, then Mazer could have given them a little help. So why didn’t the school wait to find someone who can fight the buggers and act like Ender does, who also doesn’t mind killing?

Well John, Ender is kinda like a super human, so he is the best guy out there. But ya the other people in the commander school should be as good as him if they are on the same level. Also to think that thye are in the same range of skill as he is. I thinkt hat it would be hard for them to find any one quite like Ender

      This also makes, no sense.

Never mind about the queen question, because I found out there was more than one queen.

but john i dont get ow not telling ender the game was real helped him kill more buggars, i think they should have told him then he and his troup like you said would work a lot harder

    June 4, 2010 at 9:19 am
    • Hannah Wilson

they didn’t tell him because they knew ender would feel bad and not fight. THey wouldn’t work harder.

hannah, this is the future. right now you can go out and buy a rempte controll aeroplane or dog or some crap like that. In this reality they can controll huge ships from a remote place to save lives

scott, if you read the book it says that there were people in the fighter ships. that’s one reason why ender was tricked, because they knew that he would feel bad if he lost only one ship and he wouldn’t fight as well or not at all

plus i do not see how it is better to control a ship buy a remote. you may not see all side angle views, which can be dangerous in a battle

even though i know there is more than one queen it still can get confusing in parts

i think that it was a good idea to “pull the plug” on the buggars, but in a way it ws bad because it wiped out there entire population

i feel bad for bonzo and stilson, but if ender found out about them the book would be shorter and way different because ender as very tender feelings

I AGREE HANNAH! He would feel so bad, and blame himself for being like Peter, a murderer. But then Ender isnt anything like Peter. He’s definitely not a killer, he just wins thoroughly.

And by the way, i bet the Buggers “elect” another queen after the first one is killed because then who would run their “clan” or “group” of Buggers. Just like people in the Commander School, and Battle School have people “retire” or get iced, because they are too old, or too violent, or arent violent enough.

I have a question…It seems like at the Battle School and Commander School are very harsh on Ender keep changing the rules. Why is that? Aren’t they afraid that they might work Ender and his “army” too hard and they will not be able to fight against the Buggers?

    June 7, 2010 at 2:11 pm
  19. Taryn Harpell

because after all, Ender and his army are all they have to keep the human race alive.

    June 7, 2010 at 2:12 pm
  20. Hannah Wilson

ender isn’t controlling anything, he just telling the other leaders what to do and helping them out. the only people they are controlling are the fighters, who are following what the leaders tell them to do.

i don’t think they were being harsh on ender in commander school because they were actually fighting buggers this time and they weren’t on their own schedual, they were on the bugger’s. and just like what taryn said, they’re depending on ender to save mankind.
