Getting very interesting especially at the part were they drive. That would be quiet an experience.

Also it may explain later in the book but what happened to the doctor they meet with in that building.

i really love this book!!!!! ive never read a sci fi book before, but this is a great introduction to the genre of sci fi.
anyways, back to the book. the second section is really good! i love how they describe the ‘meat factory’ as a kaleidascope color, it really gives you a mental image of the factory and what it looks like. plus, i like how the characters each have special and individual powers, i didnt realize that ella could create objects out of thin air until the seminar. i think that its really interesting how they are all special in some way. i am kind of dissapointed that drum got taken away to the meat factory, i kind of hope that they keep him there long enough for the team to come save him. but i do want to know one thing, why did shade not want them to go the meat factory to get drum back? i think that shade is double crossing them, i think this because if you look on pages 192-193 (the last sentence on page 193) shade says this: “….overlord technology will provide me with a body. Then i will once more be a man, or something more….”

Ellie, think about it. What is the one thing Shade does not have? What can’t he do on his own? A new body? Think about the consequences if the team goes into the Meat Factory. Who’s Shade’s best team?

i dont get what the thinker is but i’m at the part where drum gets captured and is taken to the meat factory and where ella, ninde, and gold-eye go and save him and they run into a ferret or somethin. but the ferret kills a doggy!!!!!

ya i agree wit maddy. its getting a little more interesting and less confusing but i still am confused, and i still dont really like the book. :/ o well… life goes on…
